There is life in these old bones still… I am two hundred-thirty years old. Two hundred-fifty one if you count my mortal years. I am Powerful. Vain. A brat. A rockstar. An aristocrat. An author. A King.

In all the years I've been around, I've created six after me; my beautiful Louis, my adopted daughter Claudia, Gabrielle, David, Nicki, and Mona. I love all of my fledglings.

I have taken both men and women into my arms, my bed and into my heart. I find beauty in all creatures. I am attracted to whatever interests me. I have never been known to be a creature of monogamy, but as of late, that has changed. I've committed myself to the one person who owns my heart; Louis de Pointe du Lac.

I am the Damndest Creature. I am the Rule-Breaker. I am the Brat Prince, the Wolf-Killer, Lelio. I am The Vampire Lestat; King of the Damned.

“Even Louis never kissed me back quite as passionately as you had done.” She began to state, her eyes lingering up at him without a single ounce of her demeanor wavering by his height. “The disappointment on your face when I stated my actions to mean nothing.” She came up onto her toes then, her lips coming up to hover before his own, “That is all the proof I need, non? Your own reaction. Or perhaps you wish for me to kiss you again only for you to refuse me and make it to prove me false?”

“Well Louis isn’t me Claudia, you forget that little gem cherie,” he said with a small wink, shrugging again at that. Keeping his eyes on her, watching her with an intentness in his eyes at her maneuvers, a blond brow arched as he looked down at her then, eyes looking her over, falling to her lips then to her eyes again. “You’ve always amused me, ma chere, even at the most inappropriate of times, and this would be one of them. But I’ll humor you for the moment, if I were to kiss you right now, would you stop me?”

Lestat nearly wanted to snort at her answer, and he did so. Grinning and throwing back his head, fangs glinting in that light from the fireplace. He took a few steps to the side, his hand sitting atop the mantle and he leaned against it. His other hand going to hold at his hip as those glasslike nails tapped along that marble mantle. “Mhm, I don’t know Claudia, I call bullshit,” he said, his blond brow quirked to its extent and turning his head, canting it in her direction.

Why he was being this way, there were several reasons as to it, then again he was Lestat de Lioncourt and she was Claudia. He loved her and hated her, a fine line between both that seemed blurred at times. This girl. No. This woman before him could infuriate him the way he infuriated others. She was like him in so many ways, no?

She turned her gaze on him then, her eyes glaring in his direction as her brows furrowed in anger. She wouldn’t have expected any other form of reaction from him, it would have been foolish of her to do so. Then again, kissing him a second time was perhaps the more foolish thing she had already done. He was never going to let her live that down now, he would ridicule her for it, there was no doubt about that. She gave herself no other choice but to accept it.

The corner of her lips twitched into a small smirk as she turned her full attention on him once more, taking a few steps in his direction until she was once again too close. “Maybe so.” She began to state, her eyes glaring into his gaze as she placed both hands against his chest, “But you want me too.”

Lestat turned his lips down, shrugging his shoulders nonchalantly at her. “How can you be so sure?” He asked her as she came up close to him. Himself stepping forward then just for the simple fact he could literally look down at her shorter stance from his height. “Hm? Surely you have some.. proof to this lovely statement you claim, ma chere,” he said, grey eyes tracing the features and contours of her face, fingers going to twirl a curl around the tip of his finger as he smirked at her.

At first?” He asked with a quirk to his brow, turning only slightly on his heel to look at her, licking his lips in thought. “And it means something to you now,” he said, more as a statement then a question. Turning on his heel, seeing she had came closer to him then. His finger reached out to tuck a curl behind her ear, his nail lightly grazing that ivory skin of hers without breaking skin and drawing blood. The other hand of his went to trail the length of her arm, had he wanted he would’ve been able to keep his hands from her, but he didn’t. He enjoyed touching that skin with faint pinks littering it, evident of a previous feeding. His own skin didn’t mirror hers, as it had been a while since he’d fed, he’d been busy. Lifting his chin up, grey eyes casting down upon her then. “You want me, Claudia?”

It had been a simple gesture and one he had made before, though not quite in the same indication as this. What intrigued her was her own reaction to it, the sense of her eyelids as they gave a light flutter. If she were mortal she would have surely caught her breath. But why? This was Lestat. What was this? How strange. No. The answer to his question screamed in her head as her lips parted as if to respond though nothing came forth. Still, the answer echoed in her thoughts. However, it was a forceful answer, one to which she should have been more inclined to use at such a given time.

She turned from him then, a single arm crossing over her chest as she bit down on the thumb of her other hand. There was nothing she could say, she was partially ashamed of it. Of course he would as such a question and yet all she wanted to do was to kiss him again for reasons she didn’t dare allow herself to understand. “Bien sûr que non.” She muttered silently.

Lestat nearly wanted to snort at her answer, and he did so. Grinning and throwing back his head, fangs glinting in that light from the fireplace. He took a few steps to the side, his hand sitting atop the mantle and he leaned against it. Lestat couldn’t help but to raise an eyebrow, tilting his head in fact as he heard her answer. “Just a game? My Claudia, it didn’t feel as if you were just acting out the request of something that was just a game…” he said taking a step back from her, removing his hands from her person and going over near the fireplace, eyes staring down at the flames as he had his back to her now. “So then it meant nothing, hm?” He asked, not fully turning his head back to her, but a knowing hint in his tone. Lestat was many things, but a fool wasn’t one of them. He held a smirk upon his lips as he awaited an answer.

A surprised look grazed her features as he removed his hands and turned from her, making his way towards the fireplace. Her brows furrowed slightly in confusion towards his words causing her to take a few steps towards him almost hesitantly. The notion of his words perplexed her, though deep down she knew all too well that they shouldn’t have. Extending a single hand towards him as if to touch his shoulder, she stopped herself and brought her hand back down to her side before stating in a hushed tone, “It meant nothing at first.” She stated simply, her eyes still on his back as he was faced away from her.

Once those lips were on his once more, he couldn’t help but to return that kiss to those petals of her lips. His arm that was around her waist maneuvering tighter around the girl- no, woman. Pulling back gingerly, hissing lightly as he did so and spoke against her lips as he kept his eyes on her. “Claudia, ma chere, what is all of this, hm?”

Deepening the second kiss, she hummed lightly against him as she felt herself being pulled closer to his chest as he tightened his hold around her wast. The moment he pulled back, their lips still hovering, Claudia’s eyes fluttered open. Wide open. A light gasp escaped her as she took the smallest step away from him, “I-I…” She looked downwards for a brief moment before meeting his gaze almost in an ashamed manner, “I’m sorry.”

Lestat’s grey eyed gaze fell over her form, fingers turning up her chin to look at her. That hand on her back absently tracing her spine and holding to the small of her back. Quirking a blond brow, still feeling those lips on his it wouldn’t be the first time they kissed. He did wonder why Claudia had kissed him in the way that she did, and why he had returned the kiss to her. Lips still close, he tilted his head. “No sorries, what brought this on ma cher?”

As he lifted her chin to force her gaze to meet his, she hesitated once more, her eyes moving to look down at his lips almost temptingly, “I-I was told to.” She began, moving her eyes to meet his once more, “It was just a game, it’s nothing. I was told to kiss you passionately, so..” Her expression shifted, attempting to look serious as her entire body tensed against his touch, “.. that’s all.”

Lestat couldn’t help but to raise an eyebrow, tilting his head in fact as he heard her answer. “Just a game? thevampire-claudia replied to your post: Her face cringed slightly as she walked up to him, “J’ai désolé, Lestat. But I’m afraid it must be done.” Taking hold of his face between both hands, she placed her lips upon his own and kissed him passionately.

She kept her eyes open all the while, though she furrowed her gaze the instant he returned the kiss and buried his fingers in her curls. As he pulled away she stared at him for a brief moment before setting her lips against his once more.

Elodie changed into her heavy costume as the crew pulled her props onstage behind the curtain. Corseted, laced, rhine-stoned, and ready to go. Tonight would be “A Guy Who Takes His Time” combined with Le Bain Noir. Hopefully that would provide some cure to Lestat’s boredom. Within the five minutes she’d promised, she was behind the stage and the curtain was lifted.

Sitting there, one leg crossing over the other as he watched around him and waited for Elodie to come out and perform. Asking for a glass of the best blood wine when there was a server that came to his table, asking for it to be warm and fresh. Once the glass was set before him, he held it at between his fingers, brought it to his lips and awaited Elodie’s performance.

“I have to head backstage and get dressed. I’ll be on in about five minutes.” Elodie said, throwing Lestat a wink before heading into the rear entrance of the club.

“Of course cherie,” Lestat said to her, returning the wink to the French vampire as he made his way in. Icy grey-blue, near violet eyes looking over everyone there, eyes of others following as he walked and it didn’t surprise Lestat a bit as he made to sit directly at the table in the center of the room.

“Merci, Lestat. I appreciate it.” Elodie said, smirking right back at him as she pulled into the parking lot of the club. She parked the car and took the keys out of the ignition. “Here we are!” She smiled, hopping out of the car.

Lestat simply nodded to her, a knowing smirk on those devilish lips  as he watched her pull up and bring the car to a stop. Exiting after her soon, looking around the place. “Mhm, this is lively. Very lively, just my cup of tea,” he said with a smirk.

Elodie laughed as well, her own fangs shining. “Klause is a very jealous man, Lestat. He nearly killed Armand and instead destroyed the Louvre.” She said, shaking her head and sighing.

“Elodie cherie, he has no reas— well that’s not entirely true. I am Lestat de Lioncourt,” he said with a small smirk, winking to her. “But I won’t give him a reason to be jealous. You have my word ma chere.”
